when and where are we all body?
The project consists of an extended script/performance piece exploring themes of communal physicality, bodily presence, and shared spaces.
Pool/Swimming Section: Describes anonymous bodies moving together in warm liquid within a square space, experiencing weightlessness while surrounded by diverse body types, ages, and presentations.
Laundrette Section: Depicts intimate observations of individuals in a communal laundry facility, including character vignettes (widow with pacemaker, unemployed person with broken wrist, drag queen) and mundane details of daily rituals.
Club Section: Captures the sensory experience of a nightclub with live music performance and colored lighting.
Concluding Philosophical Section: Poses a series of profound questions about solitude, togetherness, collective experience, ritual, community, and what constitutes being 'all body' in various social contexts - pools, mosques, churches, stadiums, post offices, and other shared spaces.
